Some people believe in home schooling their kids and some don't.  I happen to be one that believes there is a time when you should home school.  That time was when we were in Australia.

We know that the schools in Alice Springs are not comparable to the United States and it was really hard on my son to attend these classes.

In stead of learning certain types of math each year.  They teach a little bit of everything every year.  So they don't get much out of the class.  It is more of a jumbled mess.

They don't teach American history and spelling is different.  Tire is spelled tyre.

But thank goodness I did do some checking when we found out that we were coming to Alice Springs because if I had not then Shane would be behind in school.
